Opportunities

Accountant

Pennybacker Accountant professionals serve our clients as the focal point for engagements and service deliverables.  You are responsible for the full accounting and controllership cycle, accountants coordinate controls based transaction entry and analysis from event to financial statement formulation. Accountants bring core accounting and finance technical expertise along with a strong background in relationship management and a service based perspective.  You are the face of Pennybacker to our clients, their vendors and across other service providers in the community.  Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to the Accounting profession with an Accounting BBA/MPA Degree.

Administrative Assistant

Pennybacker Administrative Assistant professionals serve our clients in facilitating collection, organization and processing of data inputs and products.  You are a key link in the engagement and fulfillment of client deliverables. Accountants bring organizatonal and facilitation skills with technical expertise in MS Office applicaitons and critical thinking skills for error detection.  along with a strong background in relationship management and a service based perspective.  You will interface with Pennybacker team members and our clients, their vendors and across other service providers in the community.  Successful candidates have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to concisely communicate issues to team members

Accounting Analyst

Pennybacker Accounting Analysts drive key accounting cycles across multiple client accounts.  Getting deep into the tactical details of AP, AR, Payroll, fixed assets, general ledger and reporting cycles; your expertise is key to managing details to our completeness and accuracy standards.  You have a controllership based mindset with an affinity for details.  Accounting Analysts are comfortable representing client businesses and Pennybacker standards in multiple work environments.  Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to the Accounting profession having obtained or currently pursuing an Accounting BBA Degree.

Accounting Analyst Internship

Pennybacker Accounting Analyst Interns work with all aspects of the financial, accounting and reporting processes.  You will benefit from a progressive advancement in skills development and training as you work through the Program.  We focus on both core accounting expertise and soft skills development measured across Expertise, Execution, Communication, Leadership and Critical Thinking.  All interns with data entry work to gain an understanding all of the steps in across multiple accounting cycles.  You will have the opportunity to evaluate client processes for risks, controls and efficiency.  Advanced development may allow interns to work independently at client sites.  The effectiveness of this rotation based, development focused process requires a three semester, twelve hour per week commitment and pursuit of a BBA in Accounting or Finance.

Financial Accounting Internship

Accounting Operations Internship

Pennybacker Accounting Operations Interns coordinate the client inputs and process deliverables across all our services.  Management skills in office organization, communication and documentation flow between the firm and clients is to core of your contribution to the team.  During the internship, you will learn about business structures, reporting requirements, and the processing of source documents including reporting procedures.  Work will include using software and internet resources to compile and analyze information.  Advanced development may allow interns to work independently at client sites.  The effectiveness of this rotation based, development focused process requires a four semester, twelve hour per week commitment and pursuit of a BA/BS degree in a business applicable discipline
